If I Were a Party Girl
When the top was delivered a month ago, I was a little troubled because it was waaay too big on me. I ordered a size medium thinking that it’s the best way to go but when I tried it on, it was so loose. Lesson learned; always check an online shop’s size chart!
But because I loved the color, cut and quality so much (and I didn’t want my money to go to waste), I knew I had to find a way so I took the only bodycon skirt that I have in my closet that will go well with the top. I had to get a bodycon because there is already too much volume up top so I have to balance it on the bottom. This look screams party girl, don’t you think? Although, I’m probably never going to wear this outfit because as you can tell from the title, I am not a party girl. I have nothing against women who are since it’s their way of having fun, but I prefer to stay at home and watch a movie or read a book. Call me boring but I know there are other people out there like me, too.
Also, can you see how many Wearelse stuff I have? I really love that boutique (and online shop) because they have the most trendy articles of clothing here in North Luzon. I might do a blog feature on their shop one day but I guess I’ll have to ask the shop owner first since I might have to grab a few of their photos.
Back to my top. Shoulders are subtly sexy, in my opinion. And I love how this top shows it off in a way that’s sexy but not slutty.
It’s not obvious but this dress is actually a bit sheer so I wore my silver bustier from TNC Manila to keep the look PG. LOL. And don’t you find that collar detail cute? I think it adds character to the top.
Pardon my buttless glory as I show you this awesome spike belt that I got from TNC Manila (another online shop whose clothes I’m starting to hoard!). These things actually hurt when they poke you, but I love them nonetheless.
That’s it for today’s outfit guys! I hope you liked it :)
I just had my first styling gig today for my best friend. It’s not major but I feel so happy. Haha!
