Pat and I’s Favorite Four-Letter “F” Word
If you’ll ask me the what things I like that start with the letter F, I could think of a lot of things: Fashion, Fall (even if we don’t have it here in the Philippines), Flowers and so much more. But there’s one F that Pat and I love a lot. Clue: it’s a four-letter word and we enjoy it together…FOOD (you and your dirty mind)!
I was looking at our Facebook albums and I noticed that we’ve eaten a lot of food together, so might as well make a post about it, right?
Note: Please pardon the bad quality of the other photos. Didn’t even bother to edit them. LOL
Of course, the first set of photos would be from our favorite food-chain, McDonalds!
If you bring Patrick and I to McDonalds, you won’t have ask us what we want. We practically always buy a BigMac for him and a Quarter Pounder for me. But if funds are not sufficient (THAT will NOT stop us from going to McDonalds, seriously), we’d just get a bunch of cheeseburgers and we’re equally happy.
Of course we’d get other food too when we want to try something else. My Quarter Pounder substitute will always be McChicken and Spaghetti.
Another favorite restaurant/cafe that we frequent (not just because it’s the nearest but also because the food is REALLY great) is SOUL Cafe in Udiao, La Union.
My favorite from SOUL, Beef Salpicao with Pasta.
Grilled Rib-Eye Steak
Sizzling Hunter’s Steak (Top left)
SOUL Gourmet Burger, it’r really juicy and tasty!
Dory Fish Fillet something. I forgot what it’s called but it’s really good. The only meal that can make me eat fish and zucchini and actually enjoy it.
Strawberry Crepe. This was actually so good! I think they soaked the strawberries in simple syrup because it’s so sweet, no hint of sourness at all.
Pumpkin Soup (complimentary)
THE END RESULT EVERY TIME!
Even if we’ve only went once, I can never forget Silver Spoon Cafe in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. It’s one of the coziest coffee shops I’ve been in and they have really great coffee and food. They’re not like other coffee shops here in the province wherein they have different coffee names but the flavors are all the same!
Choco Frappe (Pat’s)
New York Cheesecake (Pat’s)
And then there’s Mang Inasal, another food chain that we visited because it’s nearby. If you’re from the Philippines, you’d be very familiar with their huge serving of Chicken Inasal and unlimited rice.
Isdaan, Fresh Catch - We went there in January with Pat’s sisters to celebrate our 2nd year together. It’s a little expensive, but the place was nice so it’s kinda worth it.
Maanghang na Baka
Baguio Food Trips
Bean’s Cafe, Camp John Hay (Fruits in Ice Cream)
Don Henrico’s, SM Baguio
The Old Spaghetti House, SM Baguio
Volante, Session Road
O Mai Khan - One of Pat and I’s favorite restaurant. We usually compete on who makes the best Mongolian Barbecue. In my perspective, I always win but he thinks he does. Meh, to each his own, right? Also, they have the best desserts! Cheesecakes, Choco Cream Pies, Lemon Meringue Pie. Yum!
50’s Diner - everybody loves a 50’s diner!
Point and Grill, SM Rosales -this was during our double date with my older sister and brother-in-law
Food that Pat and I cook together on random days or special occasions
Fried Oreos, Pancit Canton with Egg and Garlic Bread (my own recipe), 3-minute Brownies with Cream and Hot Chocolate.
Mac and Cheese, Nachos with Beef Salsa and Deconstructed Banana Split that Pat and I cooked together on our 27th month celebration.
Aaaaand random stuff that Pat buys me every now and then. I think he wants me to gain weight!!!
Pretty pretty cupcakes from Brownies Unlimited.
Caramel Cheesecake Ice cream and Cookie Cream Pie
My most favorite-est (did that on purpose) junk food ever! Cheeeeetooos!
Caramel Fudge Brownie from Brownies Unlimited- Sweets overload! Yummiest thang ever!
That’s all for this post. Believe me there’s more but I feel like posting them will take forever.
So yea. Don’t know how to end this post. Bye.
